I thought that the interruption during Sekou's intense solo was just a chance occurrence. Seeing this version, I'm beginning to wonder if interruptions are a running gag during this number. Great post!!
Great post indeed, Matt, and thanks for the link to Graham Counsel's site. Haven't managed to watch/listen to all the clips yet but so far I particlarly enjoyed the selection of Malick Sidibe's photos as background to Oumou Sangare's "Yala".
