Amen! The streets of Brooklyn and New York city were so alive last night, it was so exciting to be a part of. It was almost like someone had won the world cup, such electric energy and jubilation late into the night. It was incredibly moving to see the excitement in Kenya last night too as Barack and his beautiful family took the stage. Let's all hope his presidency is as brilliant as his campaign was. Go Barack!
Likewise, Chicago wa electrified and we are still trying to wrap our brains around it all. It's so symbollically (sp?) significant, but I hope his message was clear: one man can't do it alone, it's going to take a whole country working together to clean up a major mess. A prayer, whether you believe or not, probably wouldn't hurt.
