Viva El Ritmo

The first real Cuban compilation I got my hands on was called Viva El Ritmo. But here's another real Cuban compilation far away from the old age club or the new sanitised Cuba of the advertising campaigns and tourism brochures. With no UK distribution its been impossible to pick up through the usual stores. But after I heard one of the tracks on the Captain's Crate podcast last week I couldn't wait and I placed a direct order. Its worth every cent. Highly recommended.

Someone called Carlos left a download link for the full album here in the comments section. No point in putting Waxing Deep out of business or ensuring we don't see volume 2. Buy the CD.

Just found a copy for download at eMusic... I'm so glad I subscribed four years ago... Not sure about availability in the UK or the EU but it is here in the US. I'm going to get a copy now.
