I can't say I've listened to him much lately, but he had a sound of his own and could come up with some very catchy tunes. "Tire Ni Oluwa" was one of my favourites and I recall that "Steady And Stop" was a real fine slow sexual grinder. He came to play at the I Beam in San Francisco and I DJed the show. He signed my 12" single of "Fire In Soweto" on the Radic label and also "Highlife" on Shanachie. He was a gracious man and had a strong social conscience.
